  • Children with a sibling attending the school
  • Children living within the priority admissions area (defined as the Ecclesiastical parish boundaries of Woodham Ferrers and Bicknacre);

  • Parents/carers actively involved (at least monthly attendance) in another church which is affiliated to Churches Together in Britain and Ireland
  • Children who would be best educated at this school because of pastoral, medical or social reasons (consideration will be given alongside an independent report by a suitably qualified person)
  • Parents/carers, although worshipping in another faith (at least monthly attendance), wishing their child to attend a Christan school because of its specific religious emphasis
  • Remaining applications determined by distance from the school.

In the event of over subscription in any of the above criteria, the child living the shortest straight line distance from the school will be given the highest priority.

Admissions for every age group will be considered following application to Essex County Council and the completion of a Supplementary Information Form.  In the event of over-subscription in any year group, the previous policy and procedure will apply.
