With the support of The Friends of St Mary's School and Mister Gees in South Woodham, the school have been able to make a significant investment into their reading curriculum to enable every class to have a quality text to study every half term!  As you can see, the children are very excited!

Through our new books from the series, 'Little People Dream Big', our little people at St Mary's will discover the lives of key figures from throughout history, from creatives and activists to scientists and politicians. Told as a story, with a facts and photos section at the back, every story begins with that person as a small child. Containing figures from many different experiences, backgrounds and journeys, the series aims to develop children’s empathy and their understanding of the world.
