KS2 visited St Marys Church to see the live conservation work on the beautiful Elizabethan monument to learn and discover part of their heritage.

This is a very exciting opportunity for the children to take part in a live conservation, working with maps, recording memoirs, carrying out research into all of the people listed on the WW2 monument as art of the exhibition. They will be learning about graveyard mapping using cutting edge technology and the software used which will result in an interactive map that can continue to be added to.
